It's not easy to surpass your own high standards again and again but the collection for the tenth anniversary edition of the ESI Auction on October 8th is something to be proud of. For the first time, approximately 50 foals and 35 riding horses will be auctioned together in Klein Roscharden, a wish expressed over and over by our international customers.
The first class collection of foals is led by High Level, a son of the Olympic winner in Hickstead out of a Darco mare. The direct dam line has produced seven advanced (S) level show jumpers so far. And another highlight is Check Lady. Her sire is the two-time Bundeschampionat finalist, Cristallo I, who meanwhile wins international ribbons with Henrik von Eckermann/SWE. The dam, Petit Cardinale, is also the dam of Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum's WC and EC gold winning show jumper, Checkmate. Not only that, the only Vivant daughter born in Germany (Vivant took seventh place in the World Cup) and the full brother of the show jumping Bundeschampion, Quaid, will also be in the collection. Further youngsters are by the World Cup winners Plot Blue and Sandro Boy, the Grand Prix winners Vulkano FRH and Chacco-Blue, the trademark stallion Landadel, the main premium winners and Bundeschampionat placed Collado and Cornet’s Prinz as well as Armitage, the brand new winner of the German Championships in show jumping for junior riders under his just 14-year old rider, Guido Klatte.
Among the riding horses there are not only highly promising four-year olds in the collection such as the Montendro-Upan la Jarthe AA daughter, Monticellla, and the licensed Balou du Rouet-Carism son, Bodycheck, who are both blessed with unlimited talent and the best possible rideability but also experienced show horses with a ticket for the Bundeschampionats or that have already won ribbons in advanced level classes. For example, a six-year old Concreto-Goldstrand son named Carlson who won the qualifier in Rastede for a show jumper class at the Bundeschampionat with a very good, straight score of (9.0). In the show record book of Cencara, a six-year old Cento daughter out of a Carentino mare, you find numerous first and other placings in show jumping classes up to medium (M**) level.
Official training of the riding horses begins on September 28th and as of this date interested buyers have the opportunity to try out the horses in Klein Roscharden. In order not to over-tax the horses, we kindly ask you to make an appointment in advance. The auction, which will be preceded by a parade of the auction foals, will be held on October 8th at 11:00 a.m. Photographs and videos of the auction candidates are also on the Internet at www.esi-auction.com. A catalogue, DVD as well as tickets for the auction can be ordered by sending an email to info@esi-auction.com or by calling 0049-4472-940787.
