Show jumping enthusiasts have something to look forward to. The catalogue for the ninth ESI Sport Horse Auction, which will be held this year for the first time in winter on December 3rd in Klein Roscharden, is now in print and will have photographs of an exceedingly select collection of 34 horses that should be of extreme interest to professional riders looking for something really special as well as amateur riders with great ambition.

Just a look at the pedigrees is an eye-opener. Starting right off with catalogue number 2, Candro Boy, you'll find a Carry Gold son. The dam of this bay stallion who has already placed in many tests for young show jumpers up to medium (M) level and also qualified for the Bundeschampionat in 2010, is none other than the direct granddam of the World Cup winner, Sandro Boy, under Marcus Ehning. That means that Candro Boy comes from one of the most well bred performance lines in Oldenburg breeding. 

Through his great granddam Ofarim, the Zangersheide Reserve Champion Stallion, Cypress Hill, listed as catalogue number 17, is closely related to the stallions Contendro I and II, Caretano Z, Cassiato, Conteur and Caballo. Because of his outstanding rideability, this four-year old Canturo-Coriano son will be ready to go next season. 

Con Granna, catalogue number 22, has Contendro I, Grannus and Zeus in direct descent and is a full sister of Czardas who is now making a brilliant debut in the international Youngster Tour under Gilbert Böckmann. Con Granna has already proved herself in breeding and now that whe's six-years old, she's free to show what she can do in sport. 

When you get to catalogue number 28, it's For Leggiero's turn, a licensed and performance tested full brother of a stallion named For Edition. His sire, Forsyth FRH, collected international ribbons under Toni Hassmann. First victories and placings in tests for young show jumpers up to elementary (L) level are convincing proof of For Leggiero's outstanding talent for jumping.
