Just four more days until the curtain rises for the fifth edition of the ESI Foal Auction in Klein Roscharden. On Friday, August 27th, there will be a parade of the select collection with 56 youngsters with a talent for jumping selected by Henrik Klatte and Otto Vaske according to the strict ESI quality standards. Along with stallions of merit who earned their reputation long ago by their own achievements in sport and their world class offspring, there will also be offspring by promising young sires in Klein Roscharden. Just to name some of these, for example the two Oldenburg main premium winners who qualified for the Bundeschampionat, Cornet’s Prinz and Collado, Agro Star who also qualified for the Bundeschampionat, Corlensky G and Quin Chin, the Youngster Tour series winner Stakkato Gold, the Holstein Champion Stallion and performance test winner Diarado as well as Calico who wins tests for young show jumpers. But regardless of whether the sires of the foals for sale at the V. ESI Foal Auction are young or old, practically all of the foals have time-tested dam lines in their pedigree. That means that the performance that will make many of these promising foals winner types some day is anchored in their genes. Interest shown in the auction lot comes from all over the world and many talent searches are expected at the auction.
The schedule on Friday: All of the foals will be presented individually around 4:00 p.m. before the auctioneer, Henrik Schulze Rückkamp, gets the auction off around 6:30 p.m.
