There will be over 50 first class offers in the collection of the VI ESI Foal Auction that will be held August 27th in Klein Roscharden. With five foals, the largest lot is by the internationally successful jumper Armitage from Zuchthof Klatte, whose daughter Appearance, also sold through the ESI Auction, took the 2009 Vice Bundeschampion title and meanwhile collects one ribbon after the other in the Youngster Tour with Johannes Ehning. Offspring by Cornet's Prinz, the main premium winner in Oldenburg who just qualified for the Bundeschampionat for show jumpers with terrific scores, is also included in the collection. One of his colts with a dam by Argentinus-Landgraf I was recently admitted to the Final of the German Foal Championships in Lienen. A Baden-Württemberg brand is stamped on a colt by Agro Star, who won his ticket to the Bundeschampionat in the class for six-year old show jumpers with Ehning.
Overall, the list of the sires of the youngsters offered at the VI ESI Foal Auction reads like the Who is who of modern jumper breeding: the stallions Argentinus, Cassini I, Chacco-Blue, Chin Chin, Cornet Obolensky, Coupe de Coeur, Guidam, Incolor, Lordanos, Numero Uno, Quidam de Revel and Stakkato have proved their outstanding talent for jumping over international dimensions.
"The requirements on show jumpers are unbelievably high today. The horses need more than just ability to jump; rideability, willingness to perform, an effective gallop, courage, caution and a healthy robustness are also prerequisites. So we are all the more pleased to be able to offer our customers a collection of highly talented youngsters at the VI ESI Foal Auction that have just these properties and thus most promising futures", explained Henrik Klatte, the ESI organizer.
The inspections for selecting the collection for the VI ESI Foal Auction on August 27th, which will again be shown live on the Internet, is not over yet but it is already quite obvious that a visit to Klein Roscharden will be very worthwhile!
