For Hans Passmann from Barßel, the journey to the branding event at Zuchthof Klatte in Klein Roscharden was highly worthwhile in spite of temperatures well above the 30 °C mark. His colt by Dr. Doolittle was selected by the Oldenburg breeding judges for the Elite Foal Auction in Vechta. This strong moving chestnut colt by Dr. Doolittle (by Donnerhall-Lauries Crusador xx), a highly successful dressage stallion under the young dressage rider Julia Funke, had received a ticket for the Final of the German Foal Championships in Lienen a week earlier with high scores and was once again highly convincing.
Also happy were Hermann Lueske, Lastrup, and Michael Wassmann, Badbergen. Their fillies by Klatte's main sire Farewell III (by Fidermark-Rosenkavalier), who just moved back to his stable in Klein Roscharden after having won the Weser-Ems Championships and taken third place in the Burg Pokal under Markus Gribbe last year, were also admitted ot the auction.
The young jumper stallion Chamberland (by Chambertin-Landadel) also had a perfect debut at Zuchthof Klatte. The winner of his 30-Day Test in Neustadt/Dosse presented a first class crop and all of the youngsters shown in Klein Roscharden received a premium; two colts bred by Werner Brand-Kruth, Niederlangen, and Reinhold Schnieder, Lastrup, were even admitted to the Elite Auction collection.
For the ESI Foal Auction which will take place on August 27th in Klein Roscharden, Henrik Klatte and Otto Vaske were able to recruit five outstanding foals by the Main Premium winner Collado (by Cassini I-Landgraf I) and Cornet’s Prinz (by Cornet Obolensky-Almox Prints J). The nearly 60-strong lot is now complete and also includes very tempting offers such as the last daughter by the trademark stallion, Landadel.
