First class quality with a thick black exclamation point is what spectators saw at the premiere Special ESI Show which was held in advance of the VIII ESI Sport Horse Auction scheduled for Friday, March 26th in Klein Roscharden. Of course there was a horse here or there that was still a bit shy on the course in front of all the spectators they had never seen before, especially among the younger candidates, but the talent these top notch show jumpers are blessed with was quite obvious  – even to the many interested parties that watched the Special ESI Show live on the Internet. "We have managed to put together a collection that sets a benchmark that would be difficult for anyone to equal. There's something for everyone, whether a professional rider, ambitious amateur, a young rider or top competitor.  It would be hard to find such a high concentration of performance horses like this anywhere“, said Henrik Klatte, the obviously pleased ESI organizer, in agreement with his partner, Otto Vaske, who presented the horses under saddle along with the help of the German Champion, Imke Harms.
